Question: Can a Ethereum Level 2 solution in the future ever attain a higher market capitalization than Ethereum’s market cap?

This may be a stupid question, but let's go on the basis for this question on hand that all these so-called 'Ethereum killers" fail to kill ETH down the road and that ETH wins the war and everyone has migrated over to ETH L2 and ETH killers have transformed themselves into L2 solutions in order to survive.

Can a L2 solution ever have a higher market cap than ETH itself?
