Can someone explain to me how minerpool org payment works

As the title says i want to know how the payments in minerpool org work..i am mining ravencoin in minerpool using trex and i am getting payments very late..although i set the payout threshhold very low..it still shows in pending balance..how long does it take from pending to be paid?
