Can someone explain how NFTs work on L2s.

Couple questions about nfts and l2s.

1. Are ERC20 NFTs unique across network layers
2. Theoretically shouldnt it be possible to mint directly on L2
3. Why dont i see Opensea, rarible, or other market places with more L2 support?
