What was the thing that got you into crypto?

Cryptocurrencies have been here for many years but only about 5% of the people on this planet own crypto. Before 2020 it was much less.

I'm sure many of us heard about crypto in some way or another, but a lot of people only knew about Bitcoin and it's usage on the darknet to buy drugs.

Unfortunately, when a friend told me about cryptocurrencies in 2017, I didn't listen.

I only got into crypto when all the Doge hype started and I saw a post about it on Reddit. Then I discovered Ethereum and other coins and realized how great the concept was.

How did you first decide to get down the crypto rabbit hole?
