Is RVN only about mining?

Hello everyone!

I got into crypto recently, and at the moment, I am doing my research about different coins that I would like to invest in. As you might have guessed, one of them is Ravencoin.

I have watched a couple of videos about RVN, checked the webpage, and I think I have a good enough understanding of what RVN is and what it does/can do. As with any coin, I wanted to check out the coin's subreddit. I think it can be a good place to see what people actually think of the project and so on. After checking many many posts, I realized that probably 90% of them are just about mining.

Now my question is, what is RVN actually about? And I am not talking about what it can do, but about what it is actually used for. Because my impression is that the whole community around RVN is almost purely about mining. And don't get me wrong, I have no problem with mining, I actually mine with my gaming rig. But I don't think many people will be willing to invest in a coin that's just about one and one thing only.
