rx 470 8gb white artifacts in the middle of the screen

Hi, so my dad bought rx 470 8gb for very cheap price, seller said that it doesnt work properly and thats it, and i tried it in my main pc, 700w psu, with pcie x1 riser, accompained with gtx 1080 (and no igpu) and it shows in msi afterburner, in gpu-z aswell, in device manager too, but i haven't tried mining yet and do u think it can work or should i get a new bios for rx 470? Fans spins too, but i still didn't download the amd driver, and will it work on my pc if my main gpu is gtx 1080? Ty
