Why isnt everyone mentioning the gas fees right now?

So i have been keeping an eye on the gas fees for more than a week. Whatever it is, maybe people losing interest in NFTs or maybe the devs did something. But i see posts where a lot of people are blaming the high gas fees. I just did an ERC20 transfer today for 15 USD fee. Still a bit more but considering that ETH is going to be a standard in the future, this is nothing. And let's not even discuss what happens after ETH2. Why aren't people appreciating the low gas fees?
