Should I buy between 0.01 and 0.1 ETH now?

I'm new to this whole world and am intrigued to use a small amount of USD (what I can afford to dedicate to Ethereum at the moment) to buy some before it doubles in price in 2022 but I'm afraid it's too late to invest this little and it'd just be a waste. If anyone can give me some insight that would be great. If you were me, would you buy? I'm literally a baby to this.
