I just had a really interesting idea…

I was thinking about how ETH was going PoS soonish and about where all of that hash power is gonna go. I may have just thought of a solution.

Has anyone thought about making an ERC20 token that you can mine? I have no coding skills so writing anything in solidity would be impossible for me, but has anyone thought of/about this? Is it even possible to make a token that you have to mine for?

It would solve the distribution problem that every ERC20 token inherently has; they are all just created into existence out of thin air and then distributed in some way, unlike how Bitcoin or any other pure mined crypto is distributed.

Anyways I hope some of you here that are more skilled with this sort of stuff can give me some insight.
