ADA – Smart Contracts?
So I'll be honest, I've taken every opportunity to bash ADA since they upgraded their main net for smart contracts.
I really felt the Cardano team AND community marketed Cardano as a "market ready" solution for high TPS smart contracts. Nonetheless…
I read first hand experiences of developers struggling with Haskell and a somewhat toxic elitist mentality within IOHK around Haskell. Will Charles adapt and embrace a framework not made in Haskell? Hell they practically rebuilt Haskell and raised it from the dead.
So, since the recent dip Cardano looked hella yummy. I bought some and…
I'm fairly surprised to have successfully used multiple smart contracts over the past few days. Pair this with Charles openly embracing Rust as a framework for Haskell… Most of my developer related fears have been squashed.
My opinion has changed and I feel as if Cardano has a real chance at success outside of IOHK funded dapps.
This is so important for Cardano otherwise the success of non-iohk backed projects would inevitably plummet.
Edit: Yoroi has been a breath of fresh air as I find daedalus real PIA.
