Regarding NFT gaming hype: How are you going to use your old asset in a new game?

I mean really. Games come and go. They get updated, they change. New versions come out that are 100% different than the previous.

So say you buy an item or skin for use in Game 2021. What are you going to do with that NFT when Game 2023 comes out, no one plays Game 2021 anymore, and the gameplay is totally different and your item is no longer part of the game?

Most gaming is not "card" games and never will be.
