Wondering when to buy in with a big amount into Ethereum

Hello everyone I know this sounds like a stupid question and obviously everyone would want to know the answer. However I am a casual investor in stock and cryptocurrency but have been limited by how much I invest due to being young and having a safety net.

But I am now at a new job that pays really well and just got a promotion that comes with a bonus so I have a couple thousand I plan to invest in ETH. What would you consider to be the best time to buy in as of right now?

I believe long term Ethereum will reach in the tens of thousands but I’d rather not buy in right before a dip. Is there supposed to be a dip now in the end of 2021 beginning of 2022?
