RX 460 4GB connected to PCIEX1

Hello all, as the title says. I'm planning on doing it, for mining, as I want to buy a newer AMD for my pcix16 slot. I know it can be done, the question I have, is will I loose any performance, and if so, how much? I have a Asus ROG G11CD.
