Public key certificate authority for NFTs?

What is the trusted authority for verifying public keys of content creators. Say I purchase an NFT from Kanye West. Then there should be a signature on that NFT that can be verified as Kanye West’s but how do we know what Kanye’s public key is, ie. you would hope that it would be signed by KanyeWest.com and verified by trustedCA?
