(Positive) Environmental Impact of Ethereum

I am wondering, what you guys think.

If environmental damage and climate change is linked to industrialisation, slowing down industrial activities could help the planet (to keep it simple, let's forget about that some activities have an higher impact than others).

If the whole industry runs on Ethereum, industrial activities eventually slow down, when gas prices increase. Burning ETH, when gas prices spike and making it deflationary, keeps people interested in ETH.

For this reason, Ethereum is the most environmental friendly technology on the planet.
