How will the various “Metaverses” meet up? How will Facebook Meta combine with Microsoft’s version?

This is the thing I don’t get. Assuming neither will build using ethereum, how do they talk to each other? How do I take my avatar and NFTs from one metaverse to another? Thoughts?
