Need help for hardware question

Hello stranger of the internet I got a quick question. I bought a MSI GeForce GTX 1080 GAMING X 8G and I got the error 43 (im guessing its because i only plugged in a 8pin and it require a 8+6pin) how my rig is made is that my 2000w power supply is connected to my motherboard ( I bought a full kit online its this one (Not advertisement its just for reference https://www.amazon.com/dp/B099DM1BKH?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_details) My problem is that all the cable are 8 pins except those that comes out of the power supply and I was wondering if it could cause any kind of problem if I plug a 2000W power supply directly in my gpu *Alright Quick update* I did plug it now the error 43 is out window is saying everything good here buuuuut of course something is not working and for the first time I.. got.. no clue of what to do submitted by /u/PuncakeXD |
