Question: I was at 40-50 mh/s on a 3090 but got almost no return?

I left my 3090 running overnight mining RVN for ~12 hours and when i came back i only had 1 payout of 10 RVN and 4.389 unpaid, 3.178 immature balance. that and my "estimated earnings" is 39.179 RVN… that comes out to like what, ~$4.30? a day mining ETH gives me ~$7-8 a day, and ive heard its less intensive and requires less power, so whats the gain in mining RVN? is it the "potential blowup" worth if it skyrockets? in that case shouldnt i be mining ETH and then swapping it to RVN?
