How are you utilizing your ETH other than just holding?

Given the gas fees madness, every time I tried to use ETH on any defi or anything other than transferring from wallet to wallet, I end up losing sizeable amount of money to gas fees.

So I wonder if it is just me, or this how it is: just hold to sell at one point when there is enough reasons to sell?
