It’s kinda funny how the human brain isn’t wired for investing

I was just thinking about this as I had just bought into a project for the first time today and it dipped 8% within an hour.

My immediate reaction was to sell and I caught myself almost doing the patent r/CC strategy of buying high and selling low.

And just made me think how the human brain is not wired for investing at all.

When we buy into something and see the price dip wouldn’t it be nice if our instinct was to panic buy instead of panic sell? Because the price is even cheaper and you can get more bang for your buck. But no we want to sell.

Then also with fomo, even knowing the result of fomo and chasing pumps and being burned a couple times you would think your brain would adapt. But nope,

Crypto at it’s ATL Price: ignore

Same Crypto that just pumped 1000%: “what a great investment I should buy”

Then the other is with patience, with any investment being patient is the most important attribute but the instant gratification our brain craves is what gets us chasing pumps and selling dumps…

Really makes you think…
