Is more and more real world usage the reason why Ethereum’s price is expected to increase?

Hi! Absolute beginner here. I did my own research and decided on ETH and ALGO because I felt that coins like ETH and ALGO have their intrinsic value, meaning that they are actually useful. I am preparing to DCA into both ETH and ALGO. What I wanted to know was is ETH's and ALGO's usability the reason why we are expecting their price to increase? Also, is there a chance that at least ETH stays for the next 5 years?
