Good morning/afternoon/evening all!

First I just want to apologize for the many DMs I have sent around the community as an effort to advertise our pool. I understand these can be seen as spam mail, and I don't want to be that guy! So thank you all for your patience on that end!

However, I also want to say thank you to the many users who took the time to read the messages and joined our community! Looking to do big things around the RVN space to give back to the community, and are greatly appreciative of those who are helping us reach these goals!

A bit about what our pool is, and what we do:

This is our pool at the moment!

We are officially listed at https://ravencoin.org/pools/ and are a PROP payout based pool with a 2% fee, but before you stop reading, hear me out! This 2% fee is dedicated to a specific cause, the node lottery.

Currently, the RVN node network is the backbone of the blockchain, and while things are running smoothly, they could go a lot faster with more node, decreasing the time between when a block clears and when you get your rewards, or time spent waiting for transactions to confirm! However the folks that currently run nodes do so as volunteers, this is a way to give back to them for their efforts. We will hold a quarter block drawing, and as we gain more hashrate and earn more, the frequency of this drawing will increase, starting with monthly, maybe bi-weekly at 10 GH/s! This is our way of giving back to help the community, and potentially sweeten the pot and technically eliminate the pool fee for miners who both mine and run a node, while still offering those who only node run a chance for rewards! We will also be running another iteration of the node map that will help users connect to the node lottery system.

We are also working diligently to update our website interface and backend functionality, as well as producing an accompanying mobile app, this will also display the node map. This is the point we will also be adding PPLNS and PPS because a lot of folks seem to prefer these payout methods. I personally as a miner myself always found PROP to offer larger reward opportunities, but of course everyone's experience varies, and we are all entitled to our own opinions! 🙂

We plan to start a games sector where folks can play some old school games themed around titles like Galaga/Galaxian that will give them real rvn rewards for how much time they spend on the game or how high their score is. We will be making a login portal soon to keep track of all of this! All of this will also be accessible on the app as well!
