ETH 2 vs BTC layer 2

Hey, my boss is a Bitcoin Maxi, and told me BTC layer 2s will make ETH into a "casino token."

Anyone have any good info or data I can toss back at him?

ETH has first mover advantage re: smart contracts. It has the benefits of PoS coming vs Bitcoin's ever controversial PoW.

What else does ETH have that BTC can't touch?
