Data Usage – Mining

I started mining raven a couple days ago. Since then, my wifi data usage has sky rocketed. Yesterday I used 125gb of data. I do not have an unlimited plan, and will have to switch to one if it stays like this. I am confused because everything I read is that mining does not use a lot of data. I am mining with a rtx 3060 on fly pool with the trex miner. Any advice on why this is happening is appreciated.
