Is it possible to ‘burn’ a unique asset, then recreate one with the same name?

The reason I ask is because I'm paranoid of making a typo in the document I'm hosting on IPFS that's linked to my unique assets. If I accidentally make a typo in the IPFS document, can I burn the unique asset and create another with a different IPFS hash but the exact same name as the old one?
