DeFi lending for the unbanked

The unbanked population— people without access to banks— is 1.7 billion people worldwide. DeFi may be able to help these people, and a huge development would be giving these people easy access to loans through DeFi. Since these people don’t have any assets (besides for land) it would be almost impossible for them to have collateral for loans. Does anyone have any info or links they can share to projects/solutions to this? It could be anything related to this topic
