speculation as to why its more profitable to mine RVN over FIRO

So I was doing the caculations based upon our 1070 TI.

We mine 0.333 FIRO a day, 21 RVN a day. Break even for choice of mining for us is:

RVN = 0.15, FIRO = 9.5
RVN = 0.14, FIRO = 8.8
RVN = 0.13, FIRO = 8.2

I did this, because for the first few months, when RVN was down at 0.05/0.06, we mined FIRO. Well, actually we spent most of the time with FIRO, and then mined RVN to ease up on the GPU, as mining RVN is less hot. what is making RVN so special…
