LHR GPUs and upcoming Pos

Hi, so I'm new to mining, I am looking for a GPU and I figured I will get the 3060ti, but then I realized most of them are LHR cards, that limit my hash rate, I saw a video of someone saying it only applies to ethereum and ethereum classic. Can someone confirm that? Because if it only applies to these coins, that means it basically doesn't matter because of the Pos. So I will be able to use other coins perfectly. If someone has some info please share👍
