Just a random thought: Website hosting within smart contract

(Is it possible?) If I write a simple HTML script in a smart contract, and return it when invoked for the browser to interpret, will this serve as a static website? Taking the analogy a step further, html+javascript within the smart contract may even provide an interactive website. Is it naive?
