Can Raven Do What Ether Does?

Can it?! All this talk about assets and blah blah blah but every-time I go to list an artwork for sale on any-site it wants me to pay the fees in ethereum not raven. So for now raven is just speculation. I haven't been able to do anything with the thousands of coins I mined unless I want to sell them next year.
