Trading Raven while in Texas

I'm learning on mining as a hobby, no plans to make a big deal out of it but more so interested in a "try something new". But I ran into a few roadblocks.

1. I looked into what to do with the coin and most refer back to Binance, but I live in Texas and that is blocked here. I'd hate to keep mining Raven if after a few months I realize I can't handle it in Texas. Any Texans here with that experience?
2. I started with Raven Core wallet but would be worried about fees if I they are disproportionate to holdings. This all comes back to being in Texas and not directly mining to Binance.

Thoughts or "keywords" I should search. Yes I know I can always "Google it" but a targeted search is better than a general one 🙂
