What do shares mean when mining Raven Solo? (Sorry is its a stupid question)

Title speaks for its self, I have a single RTX 2070 and I want to chance my luck mining solo and I keep getting shares but my unconfirmed balance is still 0 (Using 2Miners Solo Btw)

Do you get paid for those shares?
