I’m at a loss with this rig.

I have been mining for a while now and this is my 8th rig that I'm having issues with. This is my 3rd rig with used cards from various sellers(mostly ebay). This rig has been running for approx 2 months with no issues. Has been running great until 4 days ago. I'll start miner and it will run for maybe 15 mins up to and hour normal and then……….. It started getting these error codes: GPU not found unstable overclock gpu#(X) crash X is any and sometimes all of my gpus Rig will stop working. Msi afterburner win box will flash red and stops responding and sometimes pc screen goes frozen black. never blue screen. when restarting computer starts normal no prompt for issues or to start in safe, ect. I'm using Win7, 5 gpus, all GTX1050ti ,(2msi nvidia, 1evga, 2msi lenova), Gamemax-800, 80 bronze + full range modular power supply, MSI afterburner, T-rex miner with kawpow algo. I'm using 2miner pool, all drivers and software are up to date. The one thing I have noticed is that no matter what clock settings I use, the base Mhz will constantly fluctuates with ranges (14 – 68). Example: base Mhz will be 1509Mhz and the the next second it will be 1544Mhz. It use to be stable when I first started rig. I have unplugged them all and tested all cards individually and same results even with new pci-e risers. The range difference is much smaller on the base Mhz less than 11 but still fluctuates. I can run up to 3 cards all day now but not 4 or 5 anymore. The only setting this will work now is crappy hash results, under 4.5MH settings are pwr 77, core -400, mem +1000, fan 100%. I used to get 6.5-7MH and run pwr 88, core 140, mem 700, fan 100%. My other 2 1050ti rigs run very similar to this all day. they are all the same setups except different mobo and ssd/sata. My thoughts are to wipe pc and start all over with clean installs, replace power supply and possibly rebuild. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks submitted by /u/ograptor1776 |
