T-Rex Clock Lock?

Anyone have any experience using the clock lock setting in T-Rex with Kawpow? I only discovered it a few days ago for ETH mining and it's pretty awesome for that. Knocked about 15W and 5C off my power/thermals without affecting hash rate much on my 2080 Ti. I want to hop back on RVN in a day or two and was curious if I could manage similar with Kawpow?
