Community Based Hashrate Charts

WhatToMine is kewl and all, but seems like their info is a bit out of date and rather slim once you get your feet wet and understand how some of this works. There's a ton of cards out there and it doesn't give much of details on their hashrates (like the 20-series).

BetterHash is really in-depth, but it has some indexing opportunities for improvement.

What if there was a decentralized way for folks to contribute stats on their hashes based on what cards do what in terms of hashrate per algorithm?

Do some benchmarking with xmrig and have an option in miners built-in that would send their metrics to this community hashrate table all can use to understand what's most efficient for the job to get done?

I notice it takes a ton of research to understand what cards are more efficient for their hash/watt and price/hash.

Thoughts on something like a community library of various cards and their hashrates?

As someone with background in webdev, sysadmin and devops, I'm willing to take the helm on some of this, but we'd need server funding, and I'd welcome help from other technical folks that would be willing to help us collaborate on the best way to represent the data, store the data, protect from hackers and whatnot.

Thoughts? Would this be useful to you?
