The Direction of Marketing
Do people really want to market ravencoin?
There was someone on the discord trying to push new marketing directions to help expand ravencoin to a wider audience. But they were meet with dissatisfaction and some even warned they were going to leave the ravencoin community if even the smallest of things were added.
The person trying to push for those new marketing directions was a novice in the sense of how ravencoin operates. I'm sure most of us don't know how to code or how to read the github or know all the different websites available for ravencoin users. But they were willing to ask questions and learn more about it.
Their market directions was to take what is known in other blockchains and integrate a form of it on the ravencoin blockchain. Like creating a better NFT trading website similar to Rarible. Or to better present ravencoin community to businesses and investors. It is to attract an audience wanting and willing to create an asset and use it. Most of us won't be creating assets cause we don't produce anything, we consume things. So it is up to artists, companies, and other people wanting to come and create assets for their uses. That creates a healthy marketplace of exchanges just on the blockchain itself. But for that to happen, there needs to be a reason why they choose ravencoin and not another blockchain that does something similar.
But there are people who are totally against that. Some say it goes against their ideology of what ravencoin is to them. Or others don't see the potential in creating those things down the line when ravencoin assets is put on a spotlight (atm ravencoin spotlight is how profitable it is to mine).
Do people really want to market ravencoin? Or do they just want to talk about ideas and then deny them and then do nothing substantial and call it a day?
