Invest or trade?

So I have been in crypto for a year and a half as a hedge against traditional finance and FIAT which I have a rather doomsday forecast for.

Anyway after being in the space for this time I ended up favoring BTC, PAXG, ICP, XRP, and SOL. With over half the portfolio being BTC.

My plan was to wait until around this quarter/q1 next year and sell nearly everything at various points, near highs hold the cash and reinvest. I actually believe in all of the things I'm invested in long term. Maybe except SOL but I only own a little.

The markets have been so hard to read that I'm starting to think why bother the trading approach and trying to sell at highs, and why not just continue to accumulate? Half of my ICP is locked up with a 10.5% interest through the NNS. My SOL is staked with a 6.5% interest.

Obviously the sell at the highs rebuy at lows trading strategy that everyone's trying to play off is cool and would make me more money if I pulled it off. But all I have seen over the last year is market manipulation, I'll probably sell early, or I'm already late.. get emotional buy back in.

I am very torn whether I return back to investing and just accumulating these coins enjoying the interest rates of locking a bigger percentage of my ICP holdings. Also It would bring me a great relief to not be following this daily neurosis of crypto know it alls to only go and watch.

any suggestions? I know crypto is risky so locking up 100% of my ICP might be a bad idea just trying to figure out the right strategy for a noob
