Should Nythyria use Ravencoin for it's peg?

I am the developer of a game called Nythyria and I want to find out how much the Ravencoin community would support me if I switched the Glitter peg of my game from BCH to Ravencoin. Note that Glitter is an in game commodity used for trade and was meant to be directly pegged to a cryptocurrency.

First a bit about Nythyria.

Nythyria is a MMODC or Massive Multiplayer Online Dungeon Crawler. Basically, the first of it's kind. It uses a unique character system based on equipping an avatar. There are no classes or levels. Instead, you collect memory cards, which combine to form orbs. You can then use these orbs to define your avatar.

Cards are easy to collect, you can easily get a couple per minute. Combine 3 cards of the same realm (there are four realms) to create an orb. There are 3 major orbs required for travel, but these are easily obtained.

Nythyria starts out fairly easy for the first few levels of the maze. However, as you go further, the difficulty ranks up. Elementals get tougher and do more damage. Environments become harsher. It is easier to get lost. You can counter this by creating more powerful orbs to equip your avatar.

The further you explore, the more powerful the cards (and created orbs) become. Cards & orbs can be traded or sold/bought using the built in auction system. There is a huge variety of cards in the game. Different cards have different effects on creating orbs. The idea is to create a vibrant economy that works in harmony with people that just want to explore a huge maze with hundreds of levels.

An important feature of Nythyria is that it uses an internal commodity called Glitter that is directly pegged to a POW cryptocurrency. In other words, if you buy a hundred glitter, then sold those hundred glitter, you would get back the same amount that you spent.

Originally, I was planning to use Myriadcoin for the peg. However, with the lost of it's biggest exchange (Bittrex), this crypto coin has done poorly. It is basically on life support by a few people that don't want to see it totally die. The hash rate is so low on this coin that I worried about a serious 51% attack and decided to switch to a more secure coin.

Note that at the time that I was planning to use Myriadcoin, I had a demo up for it for a while back in late 2022 and it had about a dozen people exploring the maze. This was before I had coded the spell system, attacking elementals, trade ability, or auction house. So I felt that I had good community support there at the time. Unfortunately, like I mentioned earlier, I don't feel that Myriadcoin is secure anymore.

So I decided to set the peg to Bitcoin Cash (BCH) instead. Despite BCH having a huge amount of hate directed at it, the developers have continued to make major improvements. One cool thing about BCH is that zero confirms is just as safe now as a single confirm thanks to DSPs (Double Spend Proofs). Basically, you can poll the memory pool if there are any conflicting potential transactions. This takes less than a second. If there aren't any conflicting transactions, then the transaction will be included in the next block. For a player, this meant that I could credit their account within just a few seconds rather than wait for a confirmation.

This being said, my release of the full game was very lackluster amongst the BCH community compared to my simple and very incomplete demo in the Myriadcoin community back in late 2022. I am not sure why, but they are just not interested. The only comment was somewhat negative. Maybe their focus on POS (Point of Sale) over internet services has blinded them to the potential of this game.

I honestly believe that this game can rival Axis Infinity. It is certainly better. Unlike the SLP (Smooth Love Potion) token, Nythyria was designed to be directly pegged to a real POW currency. The game was originally designed to be a real dungeon crawler game before I decided to incorporate cryptocurrency and add some Play2Earn features. In other words, it should attract people that just want to improve their avatar and explore a huge dungeon maze PLUS people that are trying to earn some extra cryptocurrency (which is really popular in SE Asia).

I also think that Ravencoin meme kind of goes with the Nythyria game concept. The card system in Nythyria uses two major sets of cards. One is tarot based set and the other is monster based set. Each set has a fundamental difference in it's effect on created orbs. While the tarot set would be hard to switch to a Raven art motif, I could replace the monster set with a Raven based set of cards.

Anyway, check out the web site for more information: Nythyria.com

Or better yet, download the game and check it out.

Awaiting your comments and feedback.
