Where are all the people that bought bitcoin in 2012 and didn’t lose their wallet?

Besides living in a private island, where are they? Do you guys live a life of silence? Buy a super expensive house? Do they have jobs? Living abroad? Are they the “whales” we hear so much about moving billions around?

I see a lot of people joking about how they wish they had invested, but realistically if nobody invested then how did it get to where it is today?

I had a friend who said he bought some back then and lost the flash drive that it was stored on. Anybody got a success story from finding an old wallet?
