Crypto beginners — how much have you made and how long did it take?

My dad’s really into crypto and has been guiding me a bit. He just put $1,000 into Sui & Solana for me, and he’s going to help me figure out when to sell and all that. I’m curious though- how much have you all made from crypto, and how long did it take to see real growth? I’m a single mom, so I’m starting small, probably putting another 1k-2k in but not right now, but seeing everyone else’s posts about their gains has me really excited to start this journey. Would love to hear your experiences!!!

P.S. My dad has been doing this for a long time and has made a HUGE amount of money, so I trust him, which is why he’ll be the one handling it, so I don’t know as much as you all, but still would love to hear 🙂
