Former cryptocurrency magnate Do Kwon, whose digital currencies Luna and TerraUSD collapsed in 2022, pleaded guilty to charges of wire fraud and conspiracy to defraud in a New York court on Tuesday. The currencies' collapse wiped out more than $40 billion and sparked a broader meltdown in the crypto market. Kwon was accused of misleading investors in what a prosecutor called "one of the largest frauds in history." Kwon also faces charges in South Korea.
