Is staking profitable on small amounts? comparing to fees?

Is staking really profitable on small money if you have to pay for tax soft later? I see a few offers like staking USDC Earning rate 4.10% APY Invest weekly let's say it is something small, $100 or $10 (can be more later) so is well get pennies weekly, which will increase my number on transactions. Now, end of the the year, I will need a tax software, which price will depend on the transaction number. and it can be free, $50 or $500 based on just that.
