Came across Coin Terminal, Would love to know if you are aware about it.
Hey everyone,
I recently came across a crypto launchpad called Coin Terminal and thought I’d share my experience & open this up for discussion. It's designed for early stage token sales, and I was curious because it has no staking, no KYC, and even a refund option if a token underperforms which I haven’t seen before in this space. I had been doing a lot of research on crypto since a few months and finally decided to go all in.
Here’s my simple & honest breakdown after testing it out:
PROS
- No Staking / No Token Gating:
You don’t need to hold or lock up special tokens to participate. Just connect your wallet and go.
- No KYC Required:
You don’t need to submit any documents or IDs good for people who value privacy especially better since the personal data is usually stolen for marketing and sold as leads to business as leads.
- Refund Feature :If a token doesn’t hit the expected price or utility milestones, you can request a refund. That’s a rare safety net in crypto.
- Fair Lottery Sales: They use Chain link VRF random function for lotteries so no whales can dominate allocations. Everyone gets a fair shot.
- Transparent Smart Contracts: Everything happens on chain funds, allocations, and refunds. No annoying brokers or middlemen.
- Beginner-Friendly UI: Pretty clean interface and simple to use, I didn’t feel lost like with some other DeFi tools. Its pretty straightforward to use. I saved up a lot of time due to its simplicity.
CONS
- Still New / Low Awareness: Not many people know about Coin Terminal yet, so project variety is limited for now.
- Lottery System Can Be Frustrating: If you’re unlucky, you might not get allocation even if you’re early. First-come-first-serve sales solve this, but you have to be fast.
- Limited Info About Founders:
Since it’s decentralized, you might not always know who’s behind each project.
I personally think it’s a solid idea especially for people who feel priced out of the usual staking heavy launchpads or are looking for more ethical crypto options no interest, no gambling, etc.
I would love to discuss more with anyone who has been using Coin Terminal or if you are planning to try it out, would love to guide you through it.
I am also keeping a track on the newer projects on Coin Terminal, will keep you guys updated.
