“It's done,” Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand tells me after locking in votes to pass stablecoin through US Senate.

Next up, the hard part: market structure crypto bill.

"Does it feel like this Congress is now ready to kinda tackle crypto?" I ask.

“I’m hopeful. I do think that market structure is far more complex than stablecoin,” Gillibrand told us. “So I think it'll take a larger working group, and early review of early drafts to just try to get consensus earlier. It's gonna be a much heavier lift.”
