Hardware wallets: why doesn’t Ledger or Trezor offer biometrics?

Looking to upgrade my Nano S and found a company D'Cent that offers a biometric secure hardware wallet. Since Ledger and Trezor are probably the oldest and most well known, why do they not have this? With Ledger you enter a 6 digit PIN, and I would love to have the option of biometrics and PIN. Would add an extra layer of security, or people could just go with biometric only. I am hesitant to use less well established vendors like D'Cent but I may look further into them. Ledger has the most extensive coin library. Example, D'Cent does not yet have SUI nor does Trezor for that matter.
