New trader, quick question about coinbase

Hey all, so whats the big difference between coinbase and coinbase wallet? It seems like they are two completely different things which nothing to do with one another, or at least thats what the app was kind of saying. Ive been buying and holding my cryp on coinbase, but recently had to make a wallet because i wanted to buy Keeta, because it was only tradable on the wallet. Now coinbase app was pretty easy to figure out but im having trouble with the wallet, in terms of differentiating it from base. It seems to work a bit different too, for instance it doesnt seem to allow me to trade the Keeta at all. If anyone is willing to get me a quick rundown to help me I would greatly appresh
