A perspective from the other side

I know these are tough times for most of you, so perhaps a different perspective might do this place some good. I've been in crypto for a long while, never put much real cash into it because I couldnt afford it. So all I had was whatever I could gain with small freelance jobs, rewards for contributing in other ways to whatever shitty alt came along, coupled with the gains from occasional trading and lots and lots of patience. I've made decent money with shitcoins, and eventually upgraded them from low tier garbage to mid tier trash, every transition boosting the value a little bit all the way to BTC, LTC, XMR and so on. In all these years however, ETH always eluded me. I still remember vividly reading discussions about which would be the better and more memorable ticker for this new Ethereum thing, with people discussing what this and that 3 letter combo was best to avoid picking something with too much of an existing web presence. I remember it because one of those comments was something along the lines of "ETH sounds cool, but it's also the acronym of a university where apparently Einstein studied" and for some reason it stuck with me. My point is, I was around and I could've been early, but I didn't. Over the years I regretted it, I've considered and tried entering this ecosystem many times, but everytime it either felt like I was too late already, the price was already beyond my means, or frankly it didn't make any sense fee-wise, every little transaction drained what little I could accumulate. Tech-wise ETH was always impressive, but it was never accessible. But now it is, I can do odd jobs online, I can buy ETH at a good price with it and more importantly I can withdraw those little savings paying pennies in fees and have the ETH safely on a hardware wallet. My point is, I know things seem dire right now, but I don't think I'm the only one. ETH is accessible now, both price wise and technology wise. Obviously I'm a fucking sardine in a sea of whales, but don't discount that. Although things might not look like much from where you stand, there's a whole lot of people that believe and like ETH but never had the means or the opportunity or the timing to enter this space, and to us this is a rare opportunity to have another chance at it. Although I'm grateful you're making it easier for me by giving up on this coin, I really don't think you should.
