Bank locked account for trying to buy crypto.

How do you buy crypto when the banks block any transactions from any KYC exchange? I just tried to buy with a very reputable bank and they locked my account, which took hours to unlock. Retried the transaction with the bank rep on the phone amd it instantly locked my account. It's coinbase I'm trying to use because trust wallet brokers won't even run my numbers to get it locked. How are you all buying these days? I have another account at a different bank I've had successfully made transactions with before but it was years ago, concerned they would do the same.
