Is ETH old? Does it have no future?

I am hodling mostly ETH from 2020 so I do not watch a lot of news about technology latly as I invest with long time frame. But recently I read few comments that etherejm is old as coins like SOLana are future. I saw like for this 5 years BTC make higher profit and I regret that I spend mostly for ETH and not BTC. I thought that BTC will rise slowly and ETH can get the same value and numbers as BTC. But no, my little parts of BTC makes higher profit than my few ETHs.

So, I am thinking now to sell ETHs and beeing BTC maximalist.
