Swap BTC to ETH via THORswap

I’m new to ETH. I’ve been holding BTC for about a year, but now I’m looking to explore the EVM ecosystem for DeFi opportunities. Can anyone vouch for THORSwap as a safe way to swap my BTC into ETH? I’m a bit concerned about potential scams.
